President & CEO - Founding Principal
Sharon Christ is SBCC’s President and CEO. In these roles she leads the development of company goals, sets the foundation for company culture, and ensures that the company maintains a high social responsibility. Additionally, Sharon monitors and maintains client relationships while at the same time assesses clientele and market risks.
She also acts as Contract Administrator reviewing all contract terms, implements all program and project requirements, assures compliance with contract terms, and manages all subcontract/teaming agreements. She brings more than 20 years of experience in managing programs and projects for federal and municipal agencies.
Vice President & COO - Founding Principal
Brian is SBCC’s Vice President and COO. In these roles he leads the design and implementation of business operations. Brian establishes polices that promote the company culture and vision while working in concert with the CEO. He oversees all technical operations including other senior leaders, and program and project manager’s work.
Brian has more than two decades of professional engineering experience with a wide range of expertise focused on delivering civil and environmental engineering services. He specializes in environmental compliance and pipeline design for water and wastewater systems. Brian has designed more than 20 miles of pipeline infrastructure and over two dozen commercial and governmental facilities. He has served as Project Principal, Manager or Engineer on over $250 million in facilities and infrastructure engineering and construction.
Brian is licensed in Nevada and Washington as an Environmental Engineer and in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Texas as a Civil Engineer. He is a Nevada Certified Environmental Manager and LEED Accredited Professional.
Las Vegas Division Manager
Dr. Christ has 25 years of experience working on a diverse range of projects. During his uniformed service, John served in multiple roles including environmental compliance, engineering design, and construction management. He advised the Air Force on strategic direction for facilities, infrastructure maintenance and modernization, and managed multi-million dollar civil and environmental engineering projects and construction programs. John taught undergraduate engineering courses at the US Air Force Academy and served as the Department Chair for Civil and Environmental Engineering. He continues to write and compile environmental and water resource questions for the NCEES Professional Engineer’s Civil Engineer Exam, and he conducts DOD-sponsored research on environmental contaminants.
Since joining SBCC, John has served as a Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, and the Las Vegas Division Manager. He has managed a variety of projects including groundwater well designs, large utility upgrades, environmental remediation designs, and civil and environmental engineering design support to new multi-million-dollar facilities, including an aquatic center, fire stations, crew dormitories and an air traffic control tower.
Director, Asset Management Division
Tamara Olson has more than three decades of experience successfully leading large multidisciplinary teams. She leads the firm’s Asset Management group that delivers services related to BUILDER SMS. At SBCC, Tamara has served as a Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, and the Colorado Division Manager. She offers comprehensive strategic planning and execution expertise while also mentoring staff and building successful program and project teams.
During her 27-year Air Force career, Tamara achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant while serving in various Civil Engineering Squadrons. Tamara has a wide-ranging international background in Asia, Europe, South American, and the Middle East. Tamara also serves on the National Board of Direction for the Society of American Military Engineers.
Marketing Director
Jeff is a marketing and business development professional that has served the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry for more than two decades. During his career he has supported internal and external marketing activities for small regional to large global multidisciplinary engineering consulting firms. At SBCC, he focuses on directing and hosting opportunity discussions that result in sensible go no-go decisions, leading capture planning on must win efforts, overseeing positioning activities related to attaining new clientele or portfolio diversification, managing the development of value-added proposals, training and load leveling work to marketing support staff, preparing and organizing interview teams, and supervising various other collateral material development and use.
Jeff holds a Certified Foundation level certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. In the past he served on the Society of Marketing Professional Services, San Diego Chapter Board of Directors, Chairing/Co-Chairing some of the most complex committees.
