President & CEO - Founding Principal
As President and CEO, Sharon provides strategic leadership for SBCC, guiding company goals, shaping its culture, and ensuring a strong commitment to social responsibility. She cultivates and maintains client relationships while evaluating market opportunities and potential risks.
Sharon also oversees SBCC’s business operations, leading the firm’s Marketing, HR, Finance, and IT departments. In this capacity, she ensures that business functions are aligned to support technical project delivery, from proposal development through staffing, financial setup, and long-term contract administration.
In addition, Sharon serves as Contract Administrator, directing the review of contract terms, implementing program and project requirements, and assuring compliance across all agreements. She manages subcontract and teaming arrangements and provides oversight to SBCC’s Contract Manager. With over 20 years of experience supporting federal and municipal agencies, she brings proven expertise in executive leadership, operations management, and contract governance.
Vice President & COO - Founding Principal
As Vice President and COO, Brian serves as SBCC’s Principal-in-Charge, providing executive leadership over the firm’s technical divisions in Architecture & Engineering, Environmental Services, and Construction Management. He directs Program and Project Managers, ensuring that client-facing staff deliver services aligned with SBCC’s standards of quality, efficiency, and risk management.
Brian developed the firm’s Quality Management program and established the Project Management processes followed by all technical staff. His leadership ensures accuracy, consistency, and accountability across every project, minimizing risk and protecting both SBCC and its clients. Known for his ability to quickly identify challenges and deliver practical solutions, Brian is a hands-on technical leader who drives successful outcomes in complex project environments.
With more than two decades of professional engineering experience, Brian is a licensed Environmental Engineer in Nevada and Washington, and a licensed Civil Engineer in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Texas. He also holds credentials as a Nevada Certified Environmental Manager, LEED Accredited Professional, and is certified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Construction Quality Management. His technical expertise spans environmental compliance & engineering, infrastructure engineering, and site development leading multi-disciplined teams for federal, public and commercial projects.
Director of A/E and Environmental Divisions
Dr. John Christ brings nearly three decades of experience managing complex federal programs, combining a distinguished U.S. Air Force career with private consulting experience. As Director of SBCC’s Architecture & Engineering and Environmental Divisions, John oversees the delivery of technical services across multiple programs. He ensures that projects are executed on schedule and budget, while guiding staff to follow SBCC’s established quality control processes that promote consistency, efficiency, and risk reduction.
John also serves as Program Manager for multiple IDIQs including SBCC’s $15M, 5-year BLM CA & NV A-E IDIQ contract, where he has directed more than 30 task orders ranging from fire stations and visitor centers to utility upgrades and facility condition assessments. His leadership emphasizes clear client communication, team coordination, and adherence to agency standards across diverse and often logistically complex projects. John has also led SBCC’s environmental services ranging from the preparation of NEPA documents, to environmental sampling, to modeling the fate and transport of Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) through the subsurface.
Before joining SBCC, John served as a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, where he advised on infrastructure modernization, environmental compliance, and large-scale construction programs. He also served as Permanent Professor and Department Chair for Civil and Environmental Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Academy. He continues to contribute to the profession through federally sponsored research and published work on groundwater modeling and contaminant transport.
Director of Marketing
As SBCC’s Marketing Director, Jeff drives the firm’s marketing operations and business development strategy. Since joining SBCC, he has led marketing and capture efforts that positioned the firm to secure multiple cornerstone DoD, DoI, and VA A/E contracts. His leadership has also helped SBCC earn a place on nearly every city and county SOQ list in the Las Vegas area. These wins have directly fueled the firm’s growth from 30 to nearly 60 staff, expanding SBCC’s capabilities from civil infrastructure into full-service A/E design and multidisciplinary project delivery.
With more than two decades of experience in the A/E/C industry, Jeff has directed marketing and business development initiatives for firms ranging from small regional consultancies to large global multidisciplinary practices. At SBCC, he oversees opportunity evaluation and capture planning, positioning strategies, proposal development and writing, interview preparation, and marketing staff training and support. He has also built SBCC’s in-house marketing team from two to four professionals, increasing capacity and sophistication in pursuit strategy and execution.
Jeff holds a Certified Foundation-level certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. He has also served on the Society for Marketing Professional Services San Diego Chapter Board of Directors, chairing and co-chairing several major committees.
