SBCC offers value by providing the following
SBCC completed a facility condition assessment that included all pavements, fencing, tunnels, and linear segmentation. SBCC provided a barcoding solution (hardware and software) and placed barcodes on all major RPIE components, updated all facility floorplans, conducted a real property record validation, updated Preventative Maintenance Task Lists, updated 14 Operations & Maintenance Manuals, and drafted Work Plans with Cost Estimates for specific real property. The underground tunnel assessments included exposed rock, shotcrete, anchored mesh, and rock bolt evaluations.
SBCC was contracted to investigate the mechanical systems for Building 1040 at Peterson AFB in accordance with Uptime Institute standards for redundancy and resiliency requirements. The analysis provided a Tier status assessment with current tier ranking and recommendations for improvement to elevate the tier status. SBCC prepared the mechanical drawings and calculations necessary to evaluate and assess facility characteristics for reliability. The assessment was completed by a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer and Uptime Institute certified Professional Accredited Tier Designer.
SBCC completed an in-depth plenum and non-space inspection, and evaluation of the AFS complex. SBCC identified and validated non-plenum rated wiring deficiencies within plenum spaces, provided violation drawings, and drafted corrective action plans. The first project phase provided a detailed Finding & Recommendation Report that was the product of an in-field investigation within all elevated plenum floor space. The second phase turned the F&R report into a design evaluation with a detailed work statement, construction cost estimate, and programming documents to put into effect the recommendation of the F&R Report.
SBCC conducted facility condition assessments and updated equipment inventory at US Navy, US Army, US Air Force, and US Marine Corps installations and facilities. The project included inspections in the BUILDER SMS program, following CERL policies and procedures. The team also conducted specialized functionality, specialty construction and refrigeration systems assessments.
SBCC was contracted by USACE Mobile District to perform quality assurance services through onsite facilities analysis, data analysis contained in the BUILDER SMS database, and to perform training services (in person and/or computer based) in support of the BUILDER SMS implementation at various military and Government installations located in the CONUS and OCONUS. This includes providing QA planning and support by reviewing the assessment AE plans, accompanying the assessment AE on site visits to validate BUILDER compliance and assessment requirements, and collecting field data to assess discrepancies and reporting them to the QA manager or COR.
SBCC is providing an assessment team in support of 20M SF effort. The project includes assessment, data management, updating legacy data, and RPIE inventory.
