BLM Parhump Water System SBCC was contracted through the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) to engineer and build a new potable and fire treatment and distribution water system for the Pahrump Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Fire Station. SBCC was provided bridging documents by BLM, and completed the engineering and Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) coordination necessary for permitting and constructing the system. The water system included a 600-foot deep well, pressure storage tank, and an 8,000 gallon fire storage tank. SBCC completed the necessary engineering and design, including controls, pump sizing, valves, a pre-manufactured enclosure, UV disinfection, and filtration. SBCC also served as the general contractor.
